At Pragmatist, we are deeply saddened and frankly disgusted by the wave of hate crimes that has presented itself against our Asian-American community since the onset of the pandemic. 

We want to take a moment to condemn it for what it is - racism and xenophobia.

At Pragmatist, we have asked you all to come together to make better buying decisions in order to work against climate change. Now, we are asking you to come together in support of our Asian American Community.

We know it may be difficult sometimes, but it our shared responsibility to speak out against racism to our friends and loved ones. It is all of our job to stand up for people in our communities who are underrepresented or in need. 

In addition to speaking to your loved ones, it is our job to report any incidences of hate crimes or xenophobia that you witness. Two great resources to do that are Asian Americans Advancing Justice and Stop AAPI Hate.  

At Pragmatist, we believe that all people are capable of great things regardless of your background. Our founder is a proud Latino, first generation student and member of the LGBTQIA+ community.
